There are many uses for an iPod/iPad with students with special needs. This workshop/session will go over the basics of setting up and using an iPod/iPad for use with these students. Applications for the following areas will also be discussed and demonstrated: AAC, social skills, literacy, math, data collection, behavior management, music, songs, art and games. Resources for finding apps, podcasts, books and music, and for setting up the accessibility features, will also be shared. Participants should bring an iPod/iPad if possible. If you want to download any of the free (or paid) apps, you must have an iTunes account set up. Some devices (iPad &/or iPod Touch) are available to use on a "first come, first served" basis. Please contact Judi Cumley (cumleyj@cesa5.k12.wi.us) if you need to borrow a device for the training.
