This workshop series is designed to support teachers who are using the Lucy Calkins Writing Units of Study as they work to implement the required assessment and instructional routines that are part of the writing workshop structure. Each workshop session is distinct from the others, but sequenced to strategically support teachers through implementation in manageable bits. Within each session, application tasks are specific to each grade level teacher’s resources and student work samples. Literacy coach application tasks will be specific to the teachers with whom they work.
