Description:
This session will explore the trends, outcomes, and practical application of iPads and iOS within K-12 education. Deployment and management strategies will be discussed. Note: This is not a hands-on workshop.

Topics:
• Learning powered by technology discussion - trends, outcomes from other districts
• iPad and iPod usage and application review
• Reaching all learners with Mac and iOS devices - Special Education and Accessibility overview
• Discussion of management and deployment of these tools for management of iPads and iPods

Target Audience: Technology Coordinators, Curriculum and Special Education Coordinators, Principals, Library Media Specialists, and other individuals responsible for deploying and management of technology within the school district.

Presenters: Ty Beckman and Jeremy Egger from Apple, Inc.

CESA 5 registration fee: $25
** No charge for educators who register by Thursday, May 5 from full-service ITSS districts: Adams-Friendship, Columbus, Montello, New Lisbon, Pardeeville, Portage, Poynette, Randolph, Rio, Rosholt, Sauk Prairie, and Wisconsin Dells.

Administrator Standards
WAS4The administrator ensures management of the organization, operations, finances, and resources for a safe, efficient, and effective learning environment.
Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a full refund if they cancel before 10 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Because of our commitment to the trainer and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 10 working days or do not attend, will be billed the full fee. CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. Inclement weather policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 5 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been canceled due to weather conditions.
