SMART Board Training

Who Should Attend?
• New SmartBoard Interactive Whiteboard users
• K – 12 educators who want to understand how to integrate the SmartBoard into their curriculum
• Anyone who wants to have a better understanding of how to use the SmartBoard interactive whiteboard and Notebook version 10 software
Objectives:
• Participants will be aware of the basic operation of the Smartboard
• Participants will be able to use the Smartboard Version 10 Notebook software
• Participants will be able to work with Ink Aware applications
• Participants will become familiar with the resources available from Smarttech.com
• Participants will be aware of the resource available in the Notebook gallery, including the toolkit

Participants will come away with a basic understanding of using SmartBoard Interactive Whiteboards in the classroom. We will look at some examples of different types of interactive lessons and activities involving SmartBoards. Participants will have time to work with the notebook software to begin designing their own interactive lessons and activities.
 

Participant Cancellation Policy: You must contact CESA #3 at least one week prior to the scheduled event to cancel and receive a full refund of your registration fee. Cancellations not received at least one week prior to the registered event will be charged the full registration fee. CESA #3 reserves the right to cancel any workshop due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by e-mail or phone if a workshop is cancelled. If a participant is a 'no show' the school will be billed for the registration fee, or loss of the 'free' attendance slot. Accommodations: If you need an accommodation to participate including interpreter services (sign language or other spoken language) please email the workshop contact to set up these services. A two-week notice is appreciated. CESA #3 is handicapped accessible.
