This training is designed for anyone who is new to Leveled Literacy Intervention.  LLI is a short-term literacy program designed to close the reading achievement gap in as little as 18–24 weeks. It is intense, focused small group instruction in reading and writing and is a supplementary intervention program designed for young children who struggle with reading and writing.

Learning outcomes include:

  1. Participants will learn the components of a Leveled Literacy Intervention lesson.
  2. Participants will learn the structure of an LLI lesson.
  3. Participants will learn how to determine entry points for possible reading groups.

This workshop is offered at no cost to districts participating in Title I Fee for Service including the districts of Abbotsford, Bloomer, Bruce, Colby, Cornell, Eleva-Strum, Gilmanton, Greenwood, Ladysmith, Lake Holcombe, Loyal, Neillsville, New Auburn, Owen-Withee, Spencer, and Thorp.

The cost for all other CESA 10 districts is $175 per participant, and the cost for all others outside of CESA 10 is $350 per participant.
