At CESA 8, we believe that every student, from Wausaukee to White Lake, from Marion to Marinette, deserves to have equal access to educational experiences which lead to employment opportunities that will build our Northeast Wisconsin workforce.
We hope you share this belief.
We would like to invite you to participate in setting the direction of education for economic development in Northeast Wisconsin. On March 29th, we’re bringing together a group of education, community, and business leaders representing every county in the CESA 8 area. We’ll review the work that has already been done by CESA 8 and other regional and statewide organizations, especially focusing on CESA 8’s Career Academy Teacher Externship program and the Inspire program, a unique work-based learning database which will connect education and industry in Northeast Wisconsin.
At this meeting, we will form the Education for Economic Development (E4ED) Executive Committee, a committee tasked with fostering business-education connections and developing a working model for the Inspire program moving forward.
Please join us in this vital work:
Time: 10 a.m. to noon, with buffet lunch to follow
Location: Romy’s Holiday Inn at Kelly Lake, 9600 Co Rd G, Suring, WI 54174
Please register by March 21st
We look forward to partnering with you (or another representative of your agency) to promote regional economic development.
Sincerely,
David Honish, CESA 8 Administrator
Peter Behnke, Director, Center for Education for Economic Development
Lynn Aprill, Coordinator, Academic and Career Planning
