Our CESA 10 Title III leaders and instructors of English Learners will join forces to get the year off of theright foot. We will review the guidelines for identifying and screening language learners. We will review our service plans for English learners under the lenses of Lau Law and Title III. During the afternoon, we will review process for our the screening assessments and work on the language development plans for our learners.
Learning outcomes include:
- Participants will review the requirements of Title III under ESSA.
- Participants will have time to review the identification and screening process.
- Particiants will leave with the students files for English Learners set for the 2017-18 school year.

This workshop is offered at no cost to those districts participating in CESA 10 Title III including Abbotsford, Altoona, Augusta, Bloomer, Bruce, Cadott, Chippewa Falls, Colby, Cornell, Eleva-Strum, Fall Creek, Flambeau, Gilmanton, Granton, Greenwood, Lake Holcombe, Loyal, Mondovi, Neillsville, New Auburn, Owen-Withee, Spencer, and Thorp. The cost for all other CESA 10 districts is $175 per participant.
