Developing high quality differentiated lessons has been identified as the most targeted goal of educators working on professional development plans. Whether you are initial educator or a veteran educator looking to reach more students, you will discover that differentiation of classroom instruction can serve all students--from struggling learners to gifted and talented students. This workshop is designed for educators willing to break the mold of traditional teacher-centered classroom instruction and learn how to develop a responsive classroom. Differentiated instruction will move your practice from the "sage on the stage to the guide on the side." Collaborate with professionals to explore the differentiated instruction framework using learner profiles, student readiness, and interests so teachers can differentiate the process, product, and content and reach more students more often!

This workshop is particularly beneficial to peer coaches who need a framework for coaching others through designing high quality differentiated lessons. Participants will receive examples of differentiated lessons and strategies to take back to the classroom and to practice evaluating with an DI rubric.

One graduate credit is available when taken in conjunction with another workshop on differentiated instruction offered by CESA 5 Center for School Improvement. Please email us at assessment@cesa5.k12.wi.us with questions.

Cost: $45 for Student Achievement, Title III, and PI 34
$150 for CESA 5 Center Members
$200 for all others
