In order to serve on a PDP team, members must successfully complete a DPI-approved PDP reviewer training.*

This training will certify professional educators with the ability to review PDPs.  The objectives for this training are:

  • Practice the knowledge, skills and dispositions related to being a PDP Team member
  • Apply a process to license renewal that is focused on professional growth.
  • Establish a consistent process for PDP goal approval and PDP verification using prescribed checklists.
  • Establish a consistent process for the presentation of PI34 content.
  • Share a common understanding of PI34 evidence by completion of the PI34 online module and self-assessment.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE NOTE: Check your schedule prior to registering for this half day Face to Face workshop as there is an online portion (typically taking 5-8  hours to complete) that must be completed by 6/15 in order to attend.  Approximately 3 weeks prior to the day of training, you will be receiving an e-mail from no-reply@wisconsineschool.org with the heading "Account Creation Notification."  The e-mail will provide a link for access to the online course for PDP Reviewer Training as well as the information for your initial login and password.

Participants must hold a professional educator license for the reviewer certification they are seeking (pupil services, teacher, administrator).  Administrators my be initial educators for their admin license, as long as they hold a professional educator license in another area.

Retired educators with a deep knowledge and understanding of PI-34 and the PDP process are also eligible for reviewer certification.

Please bring a fully-charged laptop or chromebook with the ability to wirelessly connect to the internet to the face-to-face training.

*Please note: this training is for professional educators who have never been trained as a PDP Reviewer.  If you have previously been trained and your Reviewer Certification expired in June 2016, information on a separate, online training is available here http://dpi.wi.gov/tepdl/pdp/team/information#Refresher.
