iPads, iPods and other Mobile Tools for Education/x

 

 

You are invited to attend an event on April 13 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm hosted by CESA #3 Instructional Technology Department to experience what it takes to deploy iPod Touch and iPads for your school and see exciting new learning solutions. You'll also get a chance to discuss with other school districts how mobility is increasing learning opportunities.

 

Presenters Ty Beckman and Jeremy Egger from Apple, Inc., will be providing:

• Learning Powered by Technology Discussion - Trends, Outcomes from Other Districts
• iPad & iPod Usage and Application Review
• Reaching All Learners with Mac and iOS devices - Special Education and Accessibility overview
• Discussion of Management and Deployment of these tools for management of iPads and iPods

 

Space and equipment is limited to the first 30 registrants. Registration is required by April 7, 2011 and free to all ITSS (iTASC and/or Resource Center) member districts and $25 for non-member districts.

Member districts are: BELMONT, BENTON, BLACK HAWK, BOSCOBEL, CASSVILLE, DARLINGTON, DODGEVILLE, FENNIMORE, ITHACA, LANCASTER, MINERAL POINT, NORTH CRAWFORD, PECATONICA, PLATTEVILLE, POTOSI, RICHLAND CENTER, RIVER RIDGE, RIVER VALLEY, SENECA, SHULLSBURG, SOUTHWESTERN, WAUZEKA AND WESTON.

Participant Cancellation Policy: You must contact CESA #3 at least one week prior to the scheduled event to cancel and receive a full refund of your registration fee. Cancellations not received at least one week prior to the registered event will be charged the full registration fee. CESA #3 reserves the right to cancel any workshop due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by e-mail or phone if a workshop is cancelled. If a participant is a 'no show' the school will be billed for the registration fee, or loss of the 'free' attendance slot. Accommodations: If you need an accommodation to participate including interpreter services (sign language or other spoken language) please email the workshop contact to set up these services. A two-week notice is appreciated. CESA #3 is handicapped accessible.
