The state of Wisconsin has defined Literacy as engaging students in College and Career Ready Learning that includes Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking, and Language kindergarten through high school.  As a state we have put great energy into improving reading; yet, research shows that all of these components are essential to developing student literacy.  This session will provide opportunities to dig into Jennifer Serravallo’s new book Writing Strategies as a companion tool to the Literacy Playbooks and Reading Strategies books.   Let’s get together and really examine our systems and instruction in Writing to grow our students as College & Career Ready literate citizens.

Investment: $250 - includes lunch both days and copy of Writing Strategies Book by Jennifer Serravallo
