CANCELLED. Restorative Practices in the School Setting

This online book study will provide school personnel with practical strategies to apply restorative practices to their educational practice.  This course will introduce to school personnel the concepts of restorative justice and  restorative discipline; offer new tools that can reduce the need for school exclusion; and offer ways to enhance the school environment to prevent conflict and restore relationships after conflict arises.

Dates: January 30, 2017 - March 17, 2017

Registration fee: 100 per person

Time: online via Moodle 24/7

Course Pre-Requisite:  Participants registering must  purchase the book: The Little Book of  Restorative Discipline for Schools, Lorraine Stutzman Amstutz and Judy H  Mullet  authors

Graduate credit: Optional:  2 grad credits will be available through UW-Oshkosh for an additional cost of $400 (payable to UW-Oshkosh)

Cancellation Policy:

Any registration cancellation must be received at least 8 business days before event in order for a full conference fee refund to be issued (full refunds do not include service fees. Service fees are nonrefundable).Registration cancellations received 1-7 business days before an event, a refund, minus $50 for each participant, will be issued. Persons who are registered, but not in attendance on the day of the session ("no call, no show") will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 6 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email if a cancellation occurs.
