Classroom Management for Student Engagement

Day 1 Rules, Routines & Acknowledgement Systems

Are you ready for a fresh start after the holiday break? During this interactive workshop, you will create classroom rules, procedures, attention signals and lesson plans in addition to learning how to give specific, positive feedback increase your rate of acknowledgment.

(part 1 of a 2-part series)

Audience: Classroom teachers, (especially new teachers and those that would like to refine their classroom management as part of their Educator Effectiveness professional development plan),instructional coaches, mentors, administrators and pupil services personnel.  

Other Requirements

• Each participant will need to bring a laptop or chromebook (power and extension cords if needed)
• One coach/mentor may accompany more than 1 teacher, but each teacher that attends must come with a coach/mentor who will assist with implementation at the school site.

Cost: $75 CESA 8 - CIA member school district / $150 non-members

CANCELLATION POLICY: Any registration cancellation must be received 7 days prior to the scheduled date to receive a refund or avoid invoicing. CESA 8 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA 8 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. Registered participants not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 8 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment or inclement weather. Participants will be notified via email through myQuickReg.com if a cancellation occurs. DIETARY ACCOMMODATIONS: Due to varied dietary restrictions, CESA 8 cannot guarantee that all special dietary accommodations can be met. CESA 8 makes every effort to accommodate basic dietary restrictions with advance notice, but please plan accordingly.
