Project TILT III February Learning Community Meeting
Wednesday, February 16, 2011

Topic: What is Project-Based Learning ?
Prior to the meeting, please:
- Read the short Introduction to Project-Based Learning article.
- Read the Rubric for Project Design.
- Think about your ideas for a second semester project-based unit and compare it to the rubric. What areas will be a strength of your unit? What feedback or suggestions would you like from the group?
Facilitators: Kelly Steiner and Penny Meek (Project TILT III coaches)
Directions and a link to the web-based meeting will be emailed to you on Tuesday, February 15th.
Other sections of this meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 9th (4:00-5:00) and Monday, February 14th (3:30-4:30 p.m.). Choose the date which works the best for you.
Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a full refund if they cancel before 10 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Because of our commitment to the trainer and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 10 working days or do not attend, will be billed the full fee. CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund.
Inclement weather policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 5 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been canceled due to weather conditions.
