Aligning Secondary Science Courses to the NGSS

This event is aimed at High School Science teachers working to align the grade-banded NGSS standards to HS courses. Who owns which performance expectation (or parts of them)? How does a district address such courses as Anatomy and Physiology, Environmental Science, or Ecology? Is there an Earth and Space Science offered at the high school?
Join Kevin Anderson, Science Consultant from the DPI and Kevin Niemi, UW-Madison, for a day of learning and work surrounding the use of the NGSS at the secondary level.
$25 per participant
Participant Cancellation Policy:
You must contact CESA 4 to cancel attendance one week prior to the scheduled event unless otherwise stated in the individual event details. CESA 4 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA 4 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. CESA 4 reserves the right to cancel any workshop due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by e-mail or phone if a workshop is cancelled. If a participant is a 'no show' the school will be billed for the registration fee, or loss of the 'free' attendance slot.
Dietary Restrictions:
Because of the number of meals served, number of ingredients used, and food product changes from vendors, we cannot guarantee dietary restrictions as indicated in a user's myQuickReg profile will be accommodated. Participants with dietary restrictions such as food allergies should plan to bring their own refreshments.
Weather Conditions:
If a workshop has been cancelled due to weather conditions, every effort will be made to reschedule the workshop. If weather conditions are questionable, please call CESA 4 Voice Mail at (608) 786-4800; Toll Free (800) 514-3075. A message will be posted regarding workshop weather cancellations.
Additional Accommodations:
