CESA 6 proudly welcomes Regie Routman, one of the most vibrant and respected names in literacy education today.

Through a partnership with CESA 6, Oshkosh, WI, Regie and her colleagues are coming to Milwaukee for a two-day, in-depth Literacy and Leadership Institute.

Renowned for intimate knowledge of teaching and learning, and Regie's dedication to students' learning success, she is a nationally-sought after speaker, coach, and author.

Learn how to:

- Align instructional practices with the beliefs embedded in the common core standards;
- Raise expectations and resuls for all learners, including English language learners and learners who struggle;
- Identify and apply the key features of a highly effective and efficient reading-writing classroom;
- Implement Regie's DVD and web-based toolkit for principals and literacy leaders:  Regie Routman in Residence:  Transforming our Teaching;
- Apply an Optimal Learning Model ("I do it", "We do it", "You do it")
- Implement Regie's proven model of Professional Learning Communities that moves literacy instruction forward by including the critical components of key content, utilization of critical resources, and a looping of application and reflection that threads PLC sessions together.
-Postively impact student achievement through becoming a stronger instructional leader.

Registration fee:  $495 per person; or $475 for a team of 3 or more from the same school district.
