Assessment for Learning in Science, Aligning Instruction & Assessment (Rms 1/2)

Building Research-Based Science Assessments and Lessons:

In this workshop, Kevin Anderson, DPI Science Education Consultant, will facilitate work on developing assessments and lessons that align to Wisconsin science standards, the NRC Framework for Science Education, and the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).  For districts that are evaluating or moving forward with changes to their science programs, this session will provide ample opportunity for networking and sharing of ideas.  Further topics of discussion will be decided by the group’s needs—they could include integrating engineering, evaluating instructional materials, and developing implementation plans.
