The CESA #9 Orientation to Mentoring, a foundation training for all Wisconsin mentors, is a one day workshop which gives participants an overview of PI 34, the ten teacher standards, the PDP, needs of beginning teachers, observing and conferencing, and linguistic skills training such as active listening, paraphrasing, clarifying, etc. This Orientation to Mentoring will support mentors in their important role in working with beginning teachers, regardless of the local induction program. Each mentor receives a certificate of completion.

$75.00 per person for School Improvement Members
$175.00 per person for non-member districts
