WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:
The SEFEL Pyramid Model is an evidence-based tiered prevention and intervention framework to promote social and emotional well-being and prevent challenging behaviors. This workshop lays the foundations of social emotional development in young children, and addresses strategies for preventing challenging behavior.

This workshop will cover:
- Early Social-Emotional brain development
- Strategies to build positive relationships
- Strategies to structure the environment
- Developing friendship skills
- Enhancing emotional literacy
- Strategies to teach anger and impulse control
- Developing problem solving skills
- Intentional teaching of social emotional skills
TARGET AUDIENCE: 4K, ECSE, Head Start, Child Care Providers, Administrators, Paraprofessionals, Special Education Directors
COST: $100 for 2-day training/includes continental breakfast, lunch and materials ($60 for districts that purchased the Team Training and Follow-up Package: WI Rapids, Stevens Point, Necedah and Rio)
