Jim Wright draws upon his years of experience working with teachers and students and from the best of current research to address student achievement in reading and writing using the RtI model.

Beginning with an overview of Curriculum-Based Measurement (CBM), participants will learn how to use CBM both to collect baseline information on student performance relative to peers, and to monitor student progress during academic interventions. A series of free tools will be demonstrated from OKAPI!, a web-based application turns your text into a set of Examiner and Student Curriculum-Based Assessment (CBA) reading probes, to ChartDog, an program to create progress-monitoring time series charts.
