WISEid will be replacing WSLS in the 2016-17 school year. Districts are encouraged to come to this workshop to learn the state side of WISEid, Ed-Fi Credentialing, and WISEdata.
Beginning in the 2016-17 school year, the DPI requires every school to use the WISE system to complete student enrollment reports. To prepare for the statewide implementation, CESA 8 is offering districts a WISEid workshop for staff that is currently or will be working with WSLS. This workshop is not intended for training related to student and staff report specifics, but for the technical support of DPI software/WISEdata (formerly ISES).
Participants will:
- See the WISEid process. Including taking a file from your student information system, uploading to WISEid, working with matches, updating student data, reporting duplicates and downloading a file for import back into your student information system.
- Learn how to review the data in WISEdata and make corrections.
- Learn about the resources available to school districts to assist you with these new tools.
Prior to coming, please ensure that upon logging into Secure Home, the attendee has access to the WISEid application, Ed-Fi Crentialing Application and WISEdata Application. If you do not have access, your District Application Security Manager (ASM) will need to give you access. Resources on how to do this can be found HERE.
While this workshop is not intended for WISEstaff training, any staff member who is new to WISEstaff reporting may benefit from this training.
