Description: This training will provide an overview of the process of conducting a Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA) and how to interpret data collected and develop a Positive Behavior Intervention Plan (PBIP) to address the needs of students with interfering behaviors. Participants will develop an understanding of how to evaluate and address variables that trigger and maintain behavior. This information will be presented using evidence based practices and Wisconsin DPI’s best practices.
Who should attend? Education and community professionals, parents and family members who support children with challenging behaviors.
Registration fee: ? $220 per participant ? Fee includes materials, continental breakfast and lunch
Graduate Credit One graduate credit available through UW-Oshkosh for an additional fee of $200. For each credit participant must attend two of the autism related course and complete assigned coursework.

Cancellation Policy:
Any registration cancellation must be received at least 8 business days before event in order for a full conference fee refund to be issued (full refunds do not include service fees. Service fees are nonrefundable).Registration cancellations received 1-7 business days before an event, a refund, minus $50 for each participant, will be issued. Persons who are registered, but not in attendance on the day of the session ("no call, no show") will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 6 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email if a cancellation occurs.
