Join CESA 3 and the Southwest Wisconsin Library System as we welcome Merri Lindgren from the Cooperative Children's Book Center (CCBC). An essential resource for teachers and library professionals, the CCBC can help you stay informed about the newest outstanding books published for children and teenagers, and also help you identify great books on a wide range of topics to integrate into the curriculum. Bring a YA book with you! Starting at 8:30, we do a fun book share activity to find some new summer reads. Merri will join us at 9:30 and spend the rest of the morning showcasing the newest "best of the best" books for children and young adults. We will wrap up before Noon.
Participant Cancellation Policy: You must contact CESA #3 at least one week prior to the scheduled event to cancel and receive a full refund of your registration fee. Cancellations not received at least one week prior to the registered event will be charged the full registration fee. CESA #3 reserves the right to cancel any workshop due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by e-mail or phone if a workshop is cancelled. If a participant is a 'no show' the school will be billed for the registration fee, or loss of the 'free' attendance slot.
Accommodations: If you need an accommodation to participate including interpreter services (sign language or other spoken language) please email the workshop contact to set up these services. A two-week notice is appreciated.
