National Boards Plunge

National Board components require a unique focus and form of writing.  It is not enough to be a competent writer; candidates need to understand exactly what assessors are trained to hunt for.  With this knowledge base, candidates can then personalize a system to improve their teaching, writing and opportunity to certify.  ~Wendy Sondrol-NBCT and Trained Assessor

In a  conversation with some seasoned NBCT candidate support mentors the following question came up: "If you had the luxury of one day to work with National Board candidates before they started the certification process, what things do you think would be most helpful to them?"

We think you will like their answer.  The Jump Start national seminar is designed to provide National Board candidates with important information about the certification process, time to examine component and Assessment Center requirements.  Jump Start also provides an opportunity to plan how to meet requirements, time to collaborate, gather resources and information needed to pursue certification-all in a supportive, constructive, and collegial environment.

Please note, this cost covers Jump Start only, not the National Board Certification Cohort with CESA 5.

 

Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a full refund if they cancel before 10 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Because of our commitment to the trainer and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 10 working days or do not attend, will be billed the full fee. CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. Inclement weather policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 5 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been canceled due to weather conditions.
