Academic and Career Planning 102-CANCELLED

Course Description: Adults make significant contributions to the ACP process through their support and provisions of resources. Day 1 of this course highlights the ways school-based adults develop authentic, helping relationships with students and their families. Helping students access information, making assessment results personally meaningful, and empowering students to take charge of their Academic and Career Planning are specific ways adults help students in the creation and pursuit of goals. Day 2 is designed to remind school-based adults of the importance of student-adult relationships in the context of Academic and Career Planning. Materials are provided and activities structured to help adults recognize and create non-judgemental, supportive relationships with all students.  Syllabus

Registration Fee:  $100 for the 2 day training.  It will show $50 per day on MQR.

Participant Cancellation Policy: You must contact CESA #3 at least one week prior to the scheduled event to cancel and receive a full refund of your registration fee. Cancellations not received at least one week prior to the registered event will be charged the full registration fee. CESA #3 reserves the right to cancel any workshop due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by e-mail or phone if a workshop is cancelled. If a participant is a 'no show' the school will be billed for the registration fee, or loss of the 'free' attendance slot. Accommodations: If you need an accommodation to participate including interpreter services (sign language or other spoken language) please email the workshop contact to set up these services. A two-week notice is appreciated. CESA #3 is handicapped accessible.
