Guided Reading what does it look like, feel like, sound like?

We will explore Guided Reading instruction in the primary and intermediate grades, with an emphasis on strategies to meet students needs, and will help you establish guided reading structures that you can use immediately within your classroom.

Learning outcomes include:

  • Participants will see what an effective guided reading lesson looks like in primary and intermediate.
  • Participants will understand how they can select and utilize reading strategies to meet the needs of students
  • Participants will be able to scaffold a 15-20 minute Guided Reading lesson.

*Please note that the location of this session may change.  Registered participants will be sent an e-mail regarding the location prior to the workshop.
