Join us to explore how to integrate the Science & Engineering Practices of the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) into your 6 - 12 Science classroom to create engaging lessons and activities for your students. This workshop will provide model science & engineering design activities that spiral through the 6-12 curriculum.  We will explore the Engineering Design Process and experience model activities on topics in physical sciences, life sciences and earth & space sciences.  You will discover how working together, scientists and engineers can use their knowledge and creativity to look for solutions and possibilities as they address unique needs.  Our approach demonstrates how to integrate Science & Engineering lessons into your current science teaching practice while efficiently connecting to science disciplinary literacy and mathematics coverage.  (Recommended:  Bring your laptop or tablet).
