Focus on the Future - Birth to Three Program

You are invited to participate in a daylong event on June 8^th that will assist your local Birth to 3 Program during the initial Implementation Phase III of the State Systemic Improvement Plan (SSIP).   During the last 5 months, the Wisconsin Birth to 3 Program team and valued stakeholders have been working to inform our system on Evidence-Based Practices, Child Outcomes, and Social Emotional Development.    During the Phase II of the installation stage, we have created a plan with details that will support Wisconsin to begin Phase III of Initial Implementation with the first cohort of selected counties in 2016.  We are now ready to begin sharing the plan with your teams. 

This meeting will include general information on the SSIP, time for team processing and facilitated discussion supported by the DHS and RESource staff.  There will be specific information including newly developed protocols shared with local Birth to 3 Programs. This information will support counties in understanding new expectations and help you prepare for your 2016 on-site visit. 

The Wisconsin Birth to 3 Program will cover the cost of the event including breakfast and lunch on June 8^th. Overnight lodging for those traveling more than 100 miles to the event will be covered by the state for either one or both nights of June 7^th & 8th . (Travel and meals outside the day of June 8^th event will be the responsibility of the county program.)

Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a full refund if they cancel before 10 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Because of our commitment to the trainer and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 10 working days or do not attend, will be billed the full fee. CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. Inclement weather policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 5 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been canceled due to weather conditions.
