Reform current practices in student grading and reporting at the 6-12 level. Our first meeting will be to discuss the priorities and develop an action plan to meet our goal. This focus group will work to:

  • Set group priorities and beliefs through the development of the 10 non-negotiables of GRADING FOR LEARNING that will drive the work of the group
  • Investigate reporting tools that will allow districts to implement reporting practices that are supportive of STUDENT LEARNING for grades 6-12
  • Develop a plan for implementing reform in your district that will get teach-ers, parents, employers, and other stakeholders on board
  • Align grading and reporting to the Common Core State Standards so grades accurately reflects what we want students to learn
