Literacy Coaching Certificate (Graduate program w/ UWO)

Develop your professional skills and become certified as a literacy coach!

Learn with a cohort of colleagues in face-to-face and hybrid courses taught by UW-Oshkosh’s nationally recognized faculty member, Cathy Toll, and Kathy Schmitt, the CESA 6 Literacy Center Director.

Program description:
A 3-course, 9-credit graduate-level program leading to a certificate in literacy coaching

Costs: $150 registration fee per course (due upon registration for each course); $200 per credit 
  1st course: 3 credits x $200 = $600 (payment due day 1 of course 1)
  2nd course: 3 credits x $200 = $600 (payment due day 1 of course 2)
  3rd course: 3 credits x $200 = $600 (payment due day 1 of course 3)

First 3-Credit Course: Coaching Strategies

• Class dates: August 1, 2, 3, 10 and 11, 2016
• Class times: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. each day

Second 3-Credit Course: Literacy and Leadership Topics

• Class dates: Five Saturdays in Fall, 2016 (Class dates will be selected on August 1)
• Class times: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Third 3-Credit Course: Field Experience in Spring 2017

Cancellation Policy:

Any registration cancellation must be received at least 8 business days before event in order for a full conference fee refund to be issued (full refunds do not include service fees. Service fees are nonrefundable).Registration cancellations received 1-7 business days before an event, a refund, minus $50 for each participant, will be issued. Persons who are registered, but not in attendance on the day of the session ("no call, no show") will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 6 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email if a cancellation occurs.
