Kathryn Bush, DPI School Psychology Program Consultant, and Sue Mackenzie, Director of Operations at Rogers Memorial Hospital, will be joining us to explore the Wisconsin Mental Health Framework, adult attitudes that lead to engagement of students with mental health challenges, and needs assessment that will guide future work in schools.

School teams of counselors, psychologists, social workers and administrators are encouraged to attend.  In the afternoon school counselors will conclude their study of the book, Mindset.

  • Participants gain an understanding of the importance in establishing empathic connections with students and parents.
  • Participants will learn the core elements to consider when adopting the WI SMH Framework.
  • Participants will begin exploring a needs assessment designed for aligning school mental health.
