The full-cost, non-consortium rate for this event is $350, plus $66 to cover the cost of the Project CRISS manual and online access for a total of $416.

Title II is the sponsoring consortium for this event.  The following districts should enter discount code Title 2 when prompted during registration:  Abbotsford, Altoona, Augusta, Bloomer, Bruce, Cadott, Colby, Cornell, Eau Claire, Eleva-Strum, Flambeau, Gilman, Gilmanton, Granton, Greenwood, Lake Holcombe, Loyal, Mondovi, Neillsville, New Auburn, Osseo-Fairchild, Owen-Withee, Spencer, Stanley-Boyd, and Thorp.

While there is no Title II consortium participant cost to attend this event, there will be a $66 fee to cover the cost of the Project CRISS manual and online access.

Participate in the national effort designed to help students in grades 4-12 improve their reading and writing, and learn more effectively in all academic areas.  Receive a Project CRISS manual, Fourth Edition, Revised 2011, which provides tested examples to actively engage students in contextual materials.  Please read about Project CRISS strategies on the What Works Clearinghouse.

Learning outcomes include:

  • Become familiar with the CRISS framework for teaching and learning.
  • Learn and experience specific strategies for reading comprehension.
  • Learn and experience specific strategies to engage learners across contents.

This is a training for a certificate.  To receive the certificate and be fully trained, full attendance is required on both days of the training.
