Are you…
- Reviewing IEPs for a district corrective action plan?
- Required to attend training for a corrective action plan?
- A new teacher who would benefit from additional IEP training?
- A veteran teacher who would like updated information on IEP writing?
- A parent who would like more information about the IEP process?
Have all of your questions answered about writing an IEP and the IEP process when you attend this workshop. Whether you are new to the IEP process, are attending as part of a district corrective action plan, are a veteran teacher or a parent, this workshop is for you!
Come and discover how to write a good IEP. In the afternoon of Session I, you will be given time to review your current IEPs for accuracy. Kathy and directors of special education from CESA 5 will be available to help you with this process. You will also be given information on how to make these corrections with the correct procedure for follow-up with the IEP team when you return to your school.
At Session II in April, participants will return with their corrected IEPs. Kathy will provide additional information to check for the correct implementation of the ideas presented at Session I. Corrected IEPs will again be reviewed by Kathy and CESA 5 directors of special education.
Kathy Laffin, former DPI SLD Consultant, will facilitate this workshop. The format will follow the Wisconsin Professional Development Model adopted by the DPI.
Please note: One day only registrations will not be accepted.
