Title III is the sponsoring consortium for this event.  The following districts should enter discount code Title 3 when prompted during registration:  Abbotsford, Altoona, Augusta, Bloomer, Bruce, Cadott, Chippewa Falls, Colby, Eau Claire, Eleva-Strum, Granton, Ladysmith, Loyal, Medford, Mondovi, Neillsville, Osseo-Fairchild, Owen-Withee, Spencer, Stanley-Boyd, and Thorp.

The Title III consortium discounted rate to attend this event is $0.

This book group will meet 5 times and cover 3 chapters at each meeting.  We will share and connect our experiences with language learners with instructional strategies to support language acquisition for all students.

Outcomes include:

  1. Participants will know how to apply instructional strategies for ELs in K-12 mainstream classes.
  2. Participants will understand how McRel identified strategies to enhance student achievement.
  3. Learn about the importance of stages of second language acquisition and their instructional implications.

The first 10 registered participants will receive a copy of the book at no cost!

This book study may be taken for one credit through St. Mary's for $140.  During registration, please indicate in the notes area if you will be taking this course for credit.
