ARIS Global Game Jam

Join your CESA 5 teaching colleagues and the ARIS Global community to build, play and experiment with mobile learning games in the ARIS 2.0 open source platform .  All teaching disciplines and grade level teachers welcome!

 

ARIS 2.0 (http://arisgames.org/ ):
“ARIS is a user-friendly, open-source platform for creating and playing mobile games, tours and interactive stories. Using GPS and QR Codes, ARIS players experience a hybrid world of virtual interactive characters, items, and media placed in physical space.”

Required:  Bring a laptop for game design and an iOS device (iPad, iPhone or iPod) for playtesting the ARIS App game.

Cost:  $80 for CESA 5 School Improvement Services Members
          $120 All Others

Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a full refund if they cancel before 10 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Because of our commitment to the trainer and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 10 working days or do not attend, will be billed the full fee. CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. Inclement weather policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 5 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been canceled due to weather conditions.
