Adolescent Readers: What We Can Do When They Struggle (Rms 1/2)

It's not too late to intervene!  Researchers are working hard to find what works when it comes to adolescents that struggle with reading in our middle and high schools.  The appropriate intervention does benefit older students.  Join us as we explore ways to meet the needs of all our readers.

Workshop goals:  

• Explore the use of assessments through guided questions
• Discussion opportunities for schools to network around support systems for struggling readers
• Explore 5 strategies to implement tomorrow with our students

Audience:  Regular and Special Education Teachers Grades 4-12, Intervention Teachers, Reading Specialists, Literacy Coaches,               Principals
