This two-day event will provide you an opportunity to work on updates, revisions and additions to your instructional program in a relaxed, collaborative setting with your CTE colleagues from across the CESA!!
For the third year in a row, back by popular demand, we'll be hosting this 2-day "working workshop". There is no charge for CESA #4 CTE teachers, lunch is provided, and CTE participants from districts in the CESA Perkins grant receive a stipend of $200 for attending the 2 days.
This is your chance to work on any area of your curriculum that you want or need to, with the opportunity to discuss and receive feedback from colleagues who teach the same things you do! If there is a group of you who wants to work on a specific course or unit (food science, welding, accounting, aquaculture - any current need!), connect with each other and make it a point to register for this session and you will have 2 days to work together on it!
Credit option through Viterbo University available.
Free to staff from districts in CESA 4 Perkins Consortium and districts in the Mississippi Valley CESA 4 YA Consortium. Participants MUST register in advance.
Perkins Consortium Districts include: ACHM, Arcadia, Bangor, BRF, B-T, Cashton, C-FC, DeSoto, GET, Hillsboro, Independence, LaFarge, Mel-Min, NOW, Royall, Sparta, West Salem and Whitehall.
MVC4 YA Consortium Districts include: Bangor, BRF, Cashton, GET, Holmen, LaFarge, Onalaska, Royall, Sparta, Tomah, Westby and West Salem.
Participant Cancellation Policy:
You must contact CESA 4 to cancel attendance one week prior to the scheduled event unless otherwise stated in the individual event details. CESA 4 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA 4 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. CESA 4 reserves the right to cancel any workshop due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by e-mail or phone if a workshop is cancelled. If a participant is a 'no show' the school will be billed for the registration fee, or loss of the 'free' attendance slot.
Dietary Restrictions:
Because of the number of meals served, number of ingredients used, and food product changes from vendors, we cannot guarantee dietary restrictions as indicated in a user's myQuickReg profile will be accommodated. Participants with dietary restrictions such as food allergies should plan to bring their own refreshments.
Weather Conditions:
If a workshop has been cancelled due to weather conditions, every effort will be made to reschedule the workshop. If weather conditions are questionable, please call CESA 4 Voice Mail at (608) 786-4800; Toll Free (800) 514-3075. A message will be posted regarding workshop weather cancellations.
Additional Accommodations:
If you need an accommodation to participate including interpreter services (sign language or other spoken language) please email the workshop contact to set up these services. A two-week notice is appreciated.
