Specially designed to navigate and dive deeply into an inquiry process using the most current data for Wisconsin students. These sessions will provide new investigation protocols for K-8 and High School teams to go beyond data mining to connect student data, teacher practices and school/district goals.

Prepare NOW to send a team that will dig deeper and faster through the use of WISExplore tools and processes to begin your 2015-16 school year armed with the right plan for improvement. This training is open to all schools in CESA 1 and CESA 2.

Objectives
Participants in the data retreat will...

~ Gain familiarity and confidence in using WISEdash and WISEforms

~ Deepen understanding of the data inquiry process and rationale

~ Become familiar with vendor reports and use of them with other data from WISEdash in the data inquiry process

~ Review and discuss concrete examples of each step of the data inquiry process incorporating sample data

~ Participate in guided practice of data extraction and data analysis using WISEforms and the data inquiry process

Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a refund if they cancel prior to 3 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Cancellations must either be made on MyQuickReg or by emailing cancel@cesa2.org. Because of our commitment to the presenter and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 3 working days prior to the event or who do not attend the event, will be billed the full fee. CESA 2 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via phone and email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. 

Inclement Weather Policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 2 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been cancelled due to weather conditions.

In-Person Events: Restrictions on our in-person events due to COVID-19 have been lifted. We will be responsive to what's happening within our communities, and guidelines from the CDC and local health agencies for future offerings and will update guidelines when necessary.
