This online course, Integrating Entrepreneurship Skills into the Classroom Curriculum, will assist teachers learn more about the new vision for Entrepreneurship Education in Wisconsin. Preparing students for their future has always been important and teaching entrepreneurial skills is now a key component of that preparation. The course will encourage teachers to integrate entrepreneurial skills, traits and strategies in all classroom curriculum areas. Participants will use a combination of technology to receive and submit weekly assignments/projects (i.e.: Wiki Spaces, Skype, and IMP 3). Susan Ziegler, certified DPI online instructor and Business Information & Technology Instructor at Sauk Prairie Schools, will facilitate this online course.
In this On-Line Learning Opportunity…
1. The instructor will use various methods of instruction online including discussions, reflections, video clips, online literature, on line presentations in lecture format, conferencing, and cooperative learning.
2. Differentiated instruction strategies will be integrated into class assignments.
3. Students will use “wiki spaces” to access readings and post assignments on the discussion board.
4. Weekly online discussions will occur with other course participants.
5. Participants will use Skype to conference with the instructors.
Cost: This is a pilot online class for CESA 5 and there is NO COST to participate.
