CD/ID Meeting: Training for Teachers

This session will cover the new definition and criteria for Intellectual Disability. We will also discuss the new science standards and will share information regarding the new alternate academic achievement standards in science.  Participants will have an opportunity to explore the standards, discuss the timeline for rolling out information regarding the standards, and expectations for their use in classrooms.

Kristen Burton, DPI Office of Student Assessment, will discuss the new DLM Science Assessment and how it will fit into the assessment window. She will also provide updates about the spring assessment window, require test administrator training, and updated training manuals.
