 1. Participants will leave with a ready-made data dig activity guide that can be share with others in their school (PLC

teams, grade level teams, etc).

 2. High School teams conduct a data inquiry into College and Career Ready standards.

 3. Pre K-8 teams conduct a data inquiry into Literacy Achievement Gaps.

 4. Learn to use the new cohort tool in WISEdash to create a group and follow them through the data. Cohorts can be

established for RtI, Classrooms or other groupings of students deemed necessary to follow through the data.

 5. Investigate the new assessment results now available in WISEdash for Districts. Compare your district results

with regional averages. Dig into PALS.

 6. Compare State Assessment results with STAR and MAP results.

 7. Learn about Achievement Level Descriptors and the Learning Target Ranges used to determine a student's

performance on the Badger Benchmarks. Despite the fact that Badger will no longer be used there is meaningful

data that can be mined and used to inform student-learning objectives.

 8. Learn about the difference between ACT Statewide, ACT Graduates, and ACT vs. DPI Benchmarks.

  • A laptop computer and any local assessment data you would like to use during the session.
  • Each team member should have access to WISEdash for Districts, PALS Reporting Portal, TOMS, and Aspire.
  • Each team should bring a copy of the ACT + Writing and WorkKeys reports for their high school.

Persons registering and not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee (substitutions are accepted). CESA 12 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email or phone if a cancellation occurs.
