Affordable Care Act Update

Attorney Bret McKintrick will present an update on what districts need to do to be in compliance with the Affordable Care Act.

As we approach the mid-point of 2015, school districts designated as “Applicable Large Employers” (more than 50 employees) will be busy implementing their strategy with regard to meeting the Play or Pay obligations under the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Join us for this free event to get educated and navigate the maze of Heath Care Reform!

This event will focus on:

· The practical considerations of managing a measurement/stability period model

· Working through the day-to-day recordkeeping aspects of preparing for year-end reporting responsibilities

· A review of the IRS’s penalty assessment process and discussion of the potential impact of the Supreme Court’s hearing on the legality of premium subsidies

Participant Cancellation Policy: You must contact CESA #3 at least one week prior to the scheduled event to cancel and receive a full refund of your registration fee. Cancellations not received at least one week prior to the registered event will be charged the full registration fee. CESA #3 reserves the right to cancel any workshop due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by e-mail or phone if a workshop is cancelled. If a participant is a 'no show' the school will be billed for the registration fee, or loss of the 'free' attendance slot.
