Google Classroom is a management/organization tool to facilitate Google document sharing, commenting, grading, and resources with students. It can also be used as a teaching/learning tool for PLCs. You will begin to create a Classroom for one of your courses.

Customizing Google Chrome with Apps and Extensions

This session will share recommended apps and extensions and provide time for exploration. An Extension adds functionality across all tabs and windows of your browser, enhancing readability, providing text-to-speech, and other options with web sites.  An App is essentially a stand-alone web application that works within a SINGLE browser window. Some apps offer OFFLINE options so work or play can continue if an Internet connection is lost or unavailable.  Apps can offer tools to help students learn and communicate as well as practice skills.
