Data Extraction & End-of-Year Scoring and Reporting 2015 Rollover Process:  The Data Extraction process will ensure that the six practice scores (one for each standard) and a final overall practice score (determined after scoring the six practice standards), and a holistic SLO score will be reported to DPI.  Once the scores are reported to DPI, only the overall practice score and the SLO score will be reported to the United States Department of Education as a pair of coordinates (i.e. overall practice score, SLO score).  Teacher and principal summative scores will also be housed at the state level, allowing teachers and administrators to access the summative data.

For the 2014-15 school year only, the SLO score will be calculated for the outcomes coordinate.  This change was the result of recent legislative action in Wisconsin.  This legislative action delayed the use of value-added scores in the evaluation of teachers and principals until 2015-16.  Each district is required to complete an extraction process and submit the data to DPI by June 30.

Learning Outcome:

Participants will learn how to determine scores for the practice standards and SLOs, and how to submit that information to the DPI.
