Educators and Speech and Language Pathologists are constantly looking for GOOD, appropriate books for students with significant disabilities. This hands-on workshop will be a combination of “make and take” low to high tech books and exploring websites with options to either create your own or read those that are already created. We will be using apps for the iPad, programs for the Chromebook and computer for creating books and visit websites that are accessible to any platform (mobile, Chromebook, computer).  Participants should bring an iPad with permission/password to download free apps. Have pictures available for creating your own books for students (student photos, school photos, choices, etc) in the iPad camera roll. We will have some Chromebooks available for those who want to use them.
