This workshop is intended for all regional math teachers who participated in the Math College and Career Readiness Aligned by Design process during the 2014 summer. This regional group of math teachers will debrief on the piloted work and continue developing the skills alignment.  The workshop will be held at UW Stevens Point Dreyfus University Center, room 235. http://www.uwsp.edu/centers/Documents/DUCmap.pdf

A tentative agenda will include:

1. Check in with College and Career Readiness Project - Math AbD
--Analysis of strengths and opportunities for development
--Implementation with Standards based Grading

2. How did the implementation of this teaching and learning tool impact student learning?
--Examination of math data using WiseDash with local and/or state assessments. (Aspire/ACT)

3. Unconference EdCamp - Open discussion. You pick the topics, you provide the discussion. Small group/round table: 20 min X 2 sessions.

4. Completion of the College and Career Readiness Math AbD standards. Teams will have time to modify and develop incomplete CCR Math standards. Note: Only participating districts will have access to this work.

5. Next Steps/Future Planning - How can this regional math PLC be used to improve (and make easier) teaching and learning?

Cost:  Free to CESA 5 Center Members and those who participated in the development and pilot of Math Skills & Assessments

Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a full refund if they cancel before 10 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Because of our commitment to the trainer and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 10 working days or do not attend, will be billed the full fee. CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. Inclement weather policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 5 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been canceled due to weather conditions.
