PART I: Suicide Prevention Training—What You Need to Know - Rescheduled from the October 14th date

Training Description:  Information on state mandate regarding requirement for schools to address youth suicide. An overview of essential knowledge and skills that educators need to have to effectively prevent and/or intervene with adolescent suicide.  Please Note: This is Part I of a two-part training and this session focuses on the problem and intervention.  Part II will be offered on March 3, 2011 (re-scheduled from March 9).

Who Should Attend: Middle and High School FCE, Health Teachers, Counselors, Social Workers, School Nurse, Principals and Asst. Principals

WPS7The pupil services professional interacts successfully with pupils, parents, professional educators, employers, and community support system such as juvenile justice, public health, human services and adult education.
Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a full refund if they cancel before 10 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Because of our commitment to the trainer and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 10 working days or do not attend, will be billed the full fee. CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. Inclement weather policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 5 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been canceled due to weather conditions.
