We live in a social media world; however many schools lack the time and expertise to effectively connect in the social media realm. Let Andrea North, SocialSchool4EDU Trainer, help you leverage powerful social media tools like Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram for use in your district to keep students, parents and community connected in positive and meaningful ways.
Teams are encouraged to attend!
Participants will receive training, information and hands-on opportunities to create social media spaces for the school districts as well as time to create actionable steps for maintaining this space in digitally appropriate ways. Teams will also receive tips and “how-tos” to promote student-led, student-owned district social media spaces and networking time to learn from each other. Bring questions and ideas and leave with a plan of action to implement immediately!

Participant Cancellation Policy:
You must contact CESA 4 to cancel attendance one week prior to the scheduled event unless otherwise stated in the individual event details. CESA 4 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA 4 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. CESA 4 reserves the right to cancel any workshop due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by e-mail or phone if a workshop is cancelled. If a participant is a 'no show' the school will be billed for the registration fee, or loss of the 'free' attendance slot.
Dietary Restrictions:
Because of the number of meals served, number of ingredients used, and food product changes from vendors, we cannot guarantee dietary restrictions as indicated in a user's myQuickReg profile will be accommodated. Participants with dietary restrictions such as food allergies should plan to bring their own refreshments.
Weather Conditions:
If a workshop has been cancelled due to weather conditions, every effort will be made to reschedule the workshop. If weather conditions are questionable, please call CESA 4 Voice Mail at (608) 786-4800; Toll Free (800) 514-3075. A message will be posted regarding workshop weather cancellations.
Additional Accommodations:
If you need an accommodation to participate including interpreter services (sign language or other spoken language) please email the workshop contact to set up these services. A two-week notice is appreciated.
