High School Math Summit

There is NO fee to attend, but please register to ensure enough materials and lunch.

Join us for the statewide High School Math Summit to learn how school districts can:

• Develop a high school program that provides coherence rather than being a series of courses
• Provide an accessible and equitable mathematics program for all learners
• Support students in developing meaningful understandings of algebra, statistics,functions, and geometry in high school
• Best prepare students for post-secondary work in mathematics, both college and career

This full-day summit will bring together mathematics leaders and teachers from across the State of Wisconsin to discuss the need for new and innovative approaches to addressing student needs in high school mathematics.

Outcome:

• To create digitally-connected networks of teachers and mathematics leaders that will continue to collaborate, share resources, and elevate and promote innovative and effective high school mathematics practices in Wisconsin.

Cancellation Policy:

Any registration cancellation must be received at least 8 business days before event in order for a full conference fee refund to be issued (full refunds do not include service fees. Service fees are nonrefundable).Registration cancellations received 1-7 business days before an event, a refund, minus $50 for each participant, will be issued. Persons who are registered, but not in attendance on the day of the session ("no call, no show") will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 6 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email if a cancellation occurs.
