This full-day summit will bring together mathematics leaders and teachers from across the state to discuss the need for new and innovative approaches to addressing student needs in high school mathematics.

An outcome of this summit is to creat digitally-connected networks of teachers and mathematics leaders that will continue to collaborate, share resources, and elevate and promote innovative and effective high school mathematics practices in Wisconsin.

Teacher Standards
WES1The teacher understands the central concepts, tools of inquiry, and structures of the disciplines he or she teaches and can create learning experiences that make these aspects of subject matter meaningful for pupils.

WES10The teacher fosters relationships with school colleagues, parents, and agencies in the larger community to support pupil learning and well being and who acts with integrity, fairness and in an ethical manner.
